Recently renovated at great cost, The George Hotel, run by Richard and Luella Chennells, is the archetypical country hotel.  Whatever you want to eat or drink – from a full meal in the Quarters restaurant to freshly prepared pizzas in the Pablo Esco bar (geddit?), and from a good bottle of red to a glass of the locally produced Zulu Blonde beer – it’s all available at The George.  The view over the Dlinza Forest from the deck outside the bar provides the perfect place for a sundowner (or two!).
